Greetings from Grama and Grampa!

We were having lunch at Los Mogotes de Michoacan in Highland Park the other day, talking about what a blast we had with all of you over Christmas on our cross-country journey.  And, as we do when we're left to our own devices, we talked about family and our crazy careers and how hard it can be to stay connected with f-o-u-r-t-e-e-n grandchildren.  Especially since some of you can't even read or send a text message yet. And how much we miss you.

Then, voila! (that's French for "suddenly, to our surprise"), we had a brilliant idea.  A BLOG!  Why not step into this millennium and follow the trend.  Is it still a trend?  Well, regardless, we'll try to update you on what's happening here in the Windy City.  What should you do?  First, your homework.  Then, when that's done, before you start playing Mine Craft or Trivia Crack or answering whatever the latest screen siren is, check out our blog at grampsandgramc.blogspot.com!

We'll do our best to keep it fresh. Comment or not, it's up to you. And let us know if you have any ideas!  After all, we're pretty old and get tired early.

Grampa's in Chicago all week being large and in charge downtown.  His spectacular office overlooks the Chicago River, so when they dye it green for St. Patrick's Day, he'll have a bird's eye view.

Grama is letting her patients know about the measles outbreak, learning how to train amazing doctors and finishing the sweater she started in August.

Reilly told us he's glad there will be lots of dogs in the Super Bowl commercials this weekend. He's cheering for the Seahawks!

Birthdays:

Okay, Clements' kids, don't forget your Mom's birthday on Saturday! 

February will be a big celebration month for the whole family, but more on that later.
